The Deadly Dance of Dr Macabre

No one goes to the top of Chapel Hill anymore.  That house belongs to Doctor Macabre.  Everyone says it’s haunted.  The ground there is dry and cracked; what little grass that’s left is parched and brown.  The trees are all dead, too, their skeletal branches reaching for the heavens, pleading for the tiniest ray of sunshine.  And the sky is always grey; the clouds never seem to part, and the air is peppered with ravens, all squawking at whoever’s foolish enough to approach the rusted iron gates.

THE INSOMNIAC Part 16Ramona brushes past Oliver as she swoops through the open door.  Pausing, his hand resting on the frame of the door, Oliver watches Ramona as she passes.  He can sense her tension, nervousness, and panic; it radiates from her body like a halo of electricity.  Her fear is so palpable he can almost taste it.

GHOSTS OF STEEL Part 5The crisp night air feels good against Thalif’s skin as he darts through the dark forest.  And all is quiet in the woods save for the air rushing past Thalif’s ears and the blood coursing madly through his veins.  Not a single beast stirs from its slumber as the barbarian charges silently through their homes, carnage, bloodshed, and revenge weighing heavily on his mind.

i just went to this guy page by the name Kody Chamberlain [link] He's one the artist for 30 Days of Night : Bloodsucker Tales. what really hits me is his new work called Punks The Comic [link] he got this distinctive style, remind me of Art Chantry work. he make me believe that the very unorthodox style of punk zine could make stylish comic.

fun comic i've seen so far... because i've been to music magazine illustration, punk-rock type,... and i began to draw comic again. :)

have u watch 30 Days of Night? i watched the tv spot, it look fantastic than ever new zombie-at-night movie since last 3 years. i hopr the movie not dissapointing, because the book is damn good.
