The earth was hot  when it hit the ground.  As it crept away,  it didn’t make a sound.

The Deadly Dance of Dr MacabreNo one goes to the top of Chapel Hill anymore.  That house belongs to Doctor Macabre.  Everyone says it’s haunted.  The ground there is dry and cracked; what little grass that’s left is parched and brown.  The trees are all dead, too, their skeletal branches reaching for the heavens, pleading for the tiniest ray of sunshine.  And the sky is always grey; the clouds never seem to part, and the air is peppered with ravens, all squawking at whoever’s foolish enough to approach the rusted iron gates.

So I'm back from The Big Apple. It was actually a rather fantastic trip where I finally got to meet some of my friends, like Vasilis Lolos and Ross Campbell. I also got to talk with Becky Cloonan again, and I had a chance to chat with the wonderful people of Oni Press. Networking, y'know?
